In addition to New Comic Book Day, Wednesday is new diorama day.

I am going to try my best to avoid commentary on these new additions - what's wrong, whether I like it or not, etc. I could do it all day, really. However, if there is one thing I learned from my first animation teacher Jim Coffin (RIP), it was to keep my goddam mouth shut. No one will notice the missing line at frame 264. No one will see the tiny bush that is out of place. Not unless you point it out to them. Then they won't stop looking at it. So yeah...thanks to Jim. He was a giant among men and now that I think about it, I really miss those days filming pencil tests on an old Oxbury stand in his cluttered, cigar reeking Silence of the Lambs basement.

I still have not uploaded images of the new ones to www.insideabox.com. Sooner or later. I've also just realized that I failed to document a few of the dioramas I sold at the show. Rats. Also, again, if you would like to be notified of new addtions via Twitter, you can follow me at @aronahlstrom. Look at me, all self important.

It puts the dioramas in the boxes or else it gets the hose again.

I love New Diorama Day.
