So, I got a few postcards printed for the show, but in typical fashion forgot to add my name to them. I suppose this is what it should have looked like. Laugh it up everyone...

I have much to do before Friday, but hope to see you there. Friday is just the opening, but it will be up for about a month thanks to the graciousness of Sunny and Tone. If you get a chance, warm yourself at one of Brooklyn's oldest gin mills.

"She's concentrating on levitation
Her body burst into violet hues
I took a look at her tattered shoes
I offered her mine but she refused
She said: I want these cuts
on my feet, man
gotta become sensitive as I can"

Today, I wish I were this poem.

I know that I shall meet my fate
Somewhere among the clouds above;
Those that I fight I do not hate,
Those that I guard I do not love;
My country is Kiltartan Cross,
My countrymen Kiltartan's poor,
No likely end could bring them loss
Or leave them happier than before.
Nor law, nor duty bade me fight,
Nor public men, nor cheering crowds,
A lonely impulse of delight
Drove to this tumult in the clouds;
I balanced all, brought all to mind,
The years to come seemed waste of breath,
A waste of breath the years behind
In balance with this life, this death.

-W.B. Yeats

New Diorama Day...long time coming, as well. The onset of fall and winter gets me a little more charged up about tinkering indoors, so I'll have some more coming soon. Also, I've got a tentative date for my second show at Sunny's Bar, which should be a hoot. Opening should be December 2nd, more updates to follow shortly.

This one needs touching up. I hate when I see gray as green.
