New diorama day. Just spit-balling on this one...wasn't sure how it would turn out. There is a better way to render an underwater scene, I just have to find it.

Check out my Etsy Shop.

New diorama day. This one (if you haven't already guessed) is an homage to the Wes Anderson movie "Moonrise Kingdom", possible my favorite movie of the year. It took some planning and doing, but is as close to a reproduction of one of my favorite shots as I could get (roughly minute 1:11 of the official trailer, if you haven't seen it).

New diorama day. I don't have much to share today. I've been working on some larger dioramas in small, gradual steps. I've been sweating a lot. Oh, and I have an Etsy shop now. I wanted to offer some of the older dioramas that I still possess to the general public:

ā€œIn the spring or warmer weather when the snow thaws in the woods the tracks of winter reappear on slender pedestals and the snow reveals in palimpsest old buried wanderings, struggles, scenes of death. Tales of winter brought to light again like time turned back upon itself.ā€
